Offline Junior Member Posts: 10 Joined: 11.09.10 Warnings:	In a new page i tried to use a custom description but failed : PHP `<?php` `require_once "maincore.php";` `require_once THEMES."templates/header.php";` `opentable("pagename");` `set_meta("description", "descriptiontext");` `set_meta("keywords", "keywordstext");` `...` `?>` It shows still the description from settings but not the custom one. keywords works fine. Just the description doesnt work properly. Ideas how to fix that? sorglos ps: i use still 8.01 Edited by sorglos on 03-01-2011 13:42

Offline Junior Member Posts: 10 Joined: 11.09.10 Warnings:	Now after updated to 9.03 statusreport. Orginalfiles, nothing changed. Its still the same behaviour. He shows the stored 'description' not the custom one. After testing i found the simply solution for now. I deleted in the setting the entry of "Site description". result : It shows the custom Description but empty description on Standardpages. If i use PHP `<?php` `set_meta("description", "descriptiontext");` `?>` then it should overwrite the settings whatever is filled in there or it makes no sense in this case
