Hallo
Bis jetzt hatte ich immer Fusion 7 laufen. nun wollte ich auf Pimped Fusion umstellen.
Nun weis ich leider nicht woran der Fehler ist. könnte mir da jemand weiter helfen.

Wo genau kommt da ein Fehler und welcher Fehler?
Ich komme bis zu Schritt 3, wo man die Datenbank-Daten eingeben muss. Bis dahin funktioniert alles.
Weiter kann ich nicht, da ich ja nicht deine MySql-Daten weiß Wink

PS: Desweiteren solltest du nicht unbedingt diesen Pfad zur Installationsdatei hier öffentlich posten.

Also MySQL 4.0 ist ja schon sehr alt. Auch 1und1 sollte soviel ich weiß mindestens Version 5.0 oder 5.1 haben. Bitte mal bei 1und1 nachfragen.
Es kann durchaus sein, dass das Problem an der veralteten MySQL-Version liegt.

ich habe mir pimped neu drauf gemacht nun habe ich bei einigen wie zb.faq, gästebuch oder im forum das problem er nimmt keine ä ü ö er macht dann den rest weg vom name so das dann nur noch da steht anstatt gästebuch = G

Musste ich gerade bei einem Update von 0.08.00 auf 0.09.03 auch wieder machen...

Wobei Basti meinte das bei einer Neuinstallation alles ok sein sollte.

Ich bin mit 8.0** zufrieden..alles ohne Probleme.Traue mich deshalb nicht an die V9*** heran.Kann man bei Fehler eigentlich die ( - Einstellungen zurück holen

Du könntest ein DB- und File-Backup machen, um die Einstellungen zurückzuholen.
