Offline Admin Posts: 147 Joined: 21.05.10 Gender: male Age: 38 Warnings:	Recently I received multiple warnings from Drupal.org and Google regarding spam attacks, and here are the details. http://www.countryipblocks.net/networking/top-10-global-spammers-1q-2010/ Example for how your .htaccess should look: Code `order allow,deny deny from xxxxxx deny from xxxxxx allow from all` if u click .htaccess file from the link above, you will need to add this 2 lines in the beginning and end (order allow, deny and allow from all after the. list) PS. Nothing personal to the listed countries, but all my domains are now hidden for them. I suggest to all Pimped-Fusion users, to block all IP ranges from China, Korea and Pakistan. Less spam, less hack attacks, less troubles. PHP/Pimped Fusion don't have followers from asia, they have XOOPSCube Legacy, so you can use this lists and on pimped-fusion.net. I have created a database of potentially unwanted countries and made an include file that first checks a persons country I.D (2 or 3 letter code) then if it is in the database as unwanted it will redirect them to any url of choice. As a UK only site (contents are specific to UK only) there are a lot of countries I just don't want on my site. Database was really easy to make and is not sql intensive Edited by dalem on 03-10-2010 00:00
