Forum threads improper display

When someone post on forum more posts, and other user goes to read it later, icons are displayed like unreaded, but when user reads 1 topic in some thread whole forum forum subcategory gets marked as readed. Even that few threads didnt get even readed. So basicly to know which are not readed yet i'm using now tabs to read them all. So how to solve this bug? I have pimped fusion 0.9 and i dont want to update because i am doing this now far long time to update to latest only because of that bug. What should i look for how the threads are marked as read and so on. Btw that happens on forum i dont have activated latest threads list etc.
