I can't upload the htaccess file
Some webhosts which provide free hosting don't allow you to upload and to use .htaccess files.
In this case you can't use the Seo Url Rewrite feature of Pimped-Fusion. Just don't use this feature and everything else works fine.

If you use a paid hosting you should contact your webhost. Maybe your webhost needs to enable the htaccess file first.

Another problem could be that your FTP-Upload programm can not handle this htaccess file. Maybe try FileZilla

What does Pimped-Fusion require to run?
Pimped-Fusion requires a computer or webserver running Apache Web Server 1.3x/2.x with PHP 4 (4.1.0 or higher) or PHP 5 and MySQL 5.0 or newer installed. It should work on platforms running Linux, Unix, MacOS or Windows operating systems.
